Maroon stiff paper wrappers stamped in gilt, secured with brass tacks. Moderate edgewear, somewhat creased, gilt darkened. Internally generally clean and tight; ink notes and edits throughout in three different hands in three colors, minor edgewear and intermittent thumbsoiling. Housed in custom gray cloth chemise and gray cloth slipcase backed in gray sheep, spine stamped in gilt. Very good or better. Property from the Estate of William Goldman, New York City. This lot comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by Mr. Goldman’s daughter, Ms. Jenny Goldman.
