London: Jonathan Cape, [1959]. First edition, first issue, first
state binding (with the detail on the upper left of the skull on
the front board still present). Octavo. 318, [2, blank] pages.
Publisher's full black cloth, front board stamped in blind and
gilt, spine lettered in gilt, first issue dust jacket. Some minor
edgewear to jacket and light occasional soiling (there are some
small red marks on the front jacket flap), mild rubbing to binding.
Skewed. Still, a near fine copy. From the James Bond collection
of Gary Firuta.Gilbert. A.7.a.1.1.
