Vignette title page and illustrations. [and:] The Haunted Man and the Ghost's Bargain, A Fancy for Christmas-Time. London: Bradbury & Evans, 1848. Appears to be a first edition. 188 pages. Illustrated title page, frontispiece and illustrations throughout. All twelvemo volumes are uniformly bound in full red polished calf with gilt spines and morocco labels. Gilt decorations, borders, and dentelles. All edges gilt. Marbled endpapers. All have the original gilt-stamped red cloth covers bound in. Boards have minor scarring and spines have faded slightly. Overall, a very attractive set in better than very good condition.
