Description

Euclid. Elementorum Euclidis Libri Tredecim... London: William Jones, 1620. Small folio (in fours). [iv], 250 pages. Woodcut geometrical figures throughout. Text printed in two parallel columns in Greek and Latin. Contemporary reversed calf binding triple-ruled in black, spine with five raised bands. Two fly leaves of printer's waste at front. Front blank with early ink ownership inscription dated 1630.

Condition: Binding slightly worn with some staining. Lacking final blank. Annotations, some ciphering notes, and other doodles to endleaves and flyleaves. Ink ownership to title page, careful marginalia throughout. Text block with scattered foxing and soiling, dampstaining, thumbsoiling, and a few small, closed tears in margins. Very good.
