Publisher's yellow cloth, front board and spine lettered in black; top edge stained yellow; in original dust jacket. Board edges and joints lightly worn; light soiling to front board; spine ends gently pushed. Scant faint foxing to page edges. Very faint tidemark to fore edge of front endpapers and preliminary leaves; previous owner signature on front free endpaper. Dust jacket lightly rubbed; folds creased with very minor chipping at edges; several short closed tears to top and bottom edge of rear panel. An attractive very good copy. The third Charlie Chan mystery. Basis for films released in 1929 and 1932, titled Charlie Chan's Chance. From the KoKo Collection.
