A. A. Milne. Winnie-the Pooh. With Decorations by E. H. Shepard. London: Methuen & Co., [1926].First edition, one of 350 copies signed by the author and illustrator. Octavo. xi, 158 pages. Folding map inserted at rear. With many intertextual illustrations.
Publisher's dark blue cloth over blue boards, with printed paper label on front cover. In the original printed paper dust jacket. Jacket browned at spine and edges, headcap chipped with some loss of text, corners and lower edge of front panel chipped, some offset to front endpapers. Still, a near fine copy in a very good jacket. Housed in a slipcase.
