[Featured Lot]. [Tom Swift]. Victor Appleton. Complete Series of Tom Swift Jr. Adventures, Nos. 1-33. New York: Grosset & Dunlap, 1954-1971. Complete series in thirty-three twelvemo volumes. Publisher's pictorial bindings, twelve with dust jackets. Includes sixteen first editions (Nos. 2-12, 15 & 30-33). Series ending numbers 30-33 (1968-1971) are scarce and hard to find in good condition. Number 33 (the last in the series) is quite rare. This copy bumped and rubbed, with spine leaning, but else very good. Condition varies throughout collection. Some with rubbing and edgewear to extremities. Some with owner's ink or pencil inscriptions. Some chipping to dust jackets. Overall very good.Auction Info
