Octavo. 445 pages. Publisher's vertically-ribbed green cloth with gilt spine titles and rules. One copy inscribed "To the Hills / At the instance of Mildred Bennett / Thorstein Veblen / December 1923." The second copy inscribed simply, "Mildred V. Bennett / Thorstein Veblen." This copy has Bennett's blind-stamp below the author's signature. Minor wear to the bindings. The binding of the latter copy cracked in a few places, but still strong. A very good pair of signed Veblen first editions.
