E del Sepolcro de' Nasonj. Rome: Nella Nuova Stamparia di Gaetano degli Zenobj, [1706]. Early edition. Folio in fours. [12], 63, [1, blank] pages. Eighty inserted plates, seven of which are folding. Vignette ornament, initials, tail-pieces. Contemporary-looking but likely later one-quarter calf with marbled paper-covered boards; spine stamped in gilt and blind with five raised bands. All edges trimmed. Minor edge wear to binding; some mild rubbing, scratching, pale discoloration to calf. Yellowish staining, speckle soiling to edges of text block. Very faint scattered foxing throughout; occasional spots of soiling. Some plates toned. Yellow splotch stain to verso of "Tavola XVI." Square once cut out of "Tavola II" (forty-second plate) now mended; affects image very little. Sprinkled wormholing to last few leaves of non-folding plates. A few folding plates toned, worn at edges; spots of staining, thumbsoiling; some wear to creases; occasionally fragile with short tears. Very good. Brunet I, 758.
