Original salmon paper wrappers, soiled with scattered staining, pencil notation to front wrapper, light chipping along edges, some creasing to spine with minimal losses at head and tail. Text block edges soiled with scattered staining, abrasion along top edge. Pages browned as typical, pencil notation to frontispiece recto.An early example of science fiction pornography, including elements of a Martian invasion and a "free love" religious utopia, and a blatant attack on 19th-century religious laws in the United States.
