Belgian Single-Shot Salon Target Pistol by LePage Moutier & Faure. .45 caliber, 10 1/2-inch fluted and faceted barrel, the lower three inches with fine gold-inlaid floral meander and line borders.Gold-inlaid barrel address reading: LePage Moutier & Faure. Gold-inlaid numeral 1 at breech and on tang [one of a pair].Lockplate, hammer, lower tang,spurred triggerguard and pommel cap decorated en suite.Ebony stock relief-carved with floral scrolls. Fluted grips.Condition: Excellent. Metal with mellow age patina. Brilliant gold inlays. Wood with minor wear and marks. Action excellent.One only of an original pair.
