Description

William Henry Harrison Document Signed, "W. H. Harrison A.D.C." One page, 7.75" x 2.5", [Greenville, Northwest Territory, present-day Ohio], March 3, 1795. The future war-hero and president, was at this time a promising aide-de-camp to Anthony Wanye who had recently defeated the Delaware, Shawnee, Chippewa and others at the Battle of Fallen Timbers, authorizes a "Provision return for Six Spies two two [sic] days commenceing [sic] the 3d and ending fourth of March 95 Inclusive this contractor will issue Eighteen compleat [sic] rations on the above return at G[reen] Ville."
