Dwight Eisenhower Typed Letter Signed. One page, 7" x 10", January 9, 1953 (eleven days before his inauguration as the thirty-fourth president), Hotel Commodore, New York, on letterhead reading "Office of Dwight D. Eisenhower", to General Clyde McRay Beck. In part: "I know I speak for all Republicans when I express my deep appreciation for the important part you played in the campaign. . . . Heavy responsibilities now lie ahead of us. But I am confident that we will continue to devote our common effort to the single purpose of a better future for our country."
Ronald Reagan Signature, 4.25" x 1.25" (sight), "With my very best wishes/ Ronald Reagan". Framed and matted with a George H. W. Bush Signature, 2" x 1.25" (sight) for an overall size of 27" x 15". Included in the frame is an invitation to "participate in the Inauguration of Ronald Wilson Reagan as President of the United States of America and George Herbert Walker Bush as Vice President", 6.75" x 9.25" (sight).
