One page, 7" x 10", January 9, 1953 (eleven days before his inauguration as the thirty-fourth president), Hotel Commodore, New York, on letterhead reading "Office of Dwight D. Eisenhower", to General Clyde McRay Beck. In part: "I know I speak for all Republicans when I express my deep appreciation for the important part you played in the campaign. . . . Heavy responsibilities now lie ahead of us. But I am confident that we will continue to devote our common effort to the single purpose of a better future for our country."

Ronald Reagan Signature, 4.25" x 1.25" (sight), "With my very best wishes/ Ronald Reagan". Framed and matted with a George H. W. Bush Signature, 2" x 1.25" (sight) for an overall size of 27" x 15".
