Description
Thomas Jefferson and James Madison Document Signed. One page, 14.75" x 8.5", July 3, 1807, Washington, D.C., partially printed on vellum. The document, bearing an embossed paper seal of the United States, is a grant of one quarter a section of land to Henry Wisler, assignee of Edward Rose. Jefferson signed as president and Madison as secretary of state. Attractively framed, 39.75" x 17", with engravings of both Jefferson and Madison. Fold lines, else fine.Auction Info
