Rutherford B. Hayes Affix the Seal Document Signed. One page of a bifolium, 8 x 10 inches, Washington, March 3, 1879. Document authorizes and directs the Secretary of State to "affix the Seal of the United States to a Warrant for the conditional pardon of Julius Bergholz." Signed, "R. B. Hayes." Includes a letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA.Condition: Light sunning to top third slightly affecting the first line of text, old smoothed fold creases.
