Millard Fillmore Autograph Letter Signed. Two pages with blank integral leaf, 7.75" x 9.75", Buffalo, August 10, 1839, to the Graham, Wood & Powers law firm. Routine legal content regarding George G. Root's loan (as docketed on the verso of second leaf). Signed "Millard Fillmore/ For Fillmore & Haven". Fillmore's law partner, Solomon G. Haven, would later serve as mayor of Buffalo and then as U.S. Congressman from New York's 32nd District (at the same time of Fillmore's presidency). Fine with expected folds.Auction Info
