Martin Van Buren Partially Printed Document Signed "M. Van Buren" as president. One page, 7.5" x 9" (sight size), June 8, 1840, Washington, D.C. The document instructs the secretary of state to to "affix the seal of the United States to the order for the pardon of Robert Scott." Attractively matted and framed with a colored engraving of Van Buren (12.75" x 25"). Usual folds, else very fine.Auction Info
