John Quincy Adams Signed Naval Appointment Partly-printed document signed, "J. Q. Adams," 11" x 8.5", Washington, December 1, 1828. An appointment of Daniel Carter as a Midshipman in the U.S. Navy. Light vertical creases do little to detract form this clean, attractive example. Boldly signed by Adams and simply matted with a portrait of the sixth president. A lovely display piece.
