C., April 20, 1826, granting "Samuel Schenck of Butler County, Ohio...The West half of the South east quarter, of Section Twenty three...in the district of lands offered for sale at Crawfordsville, Indiana, containing Eighty Acres." Blind embossed paper seal of the Land Grant Office attached. Countersigned by George Graham as commissioner of the General Land Office. Small ink stain, not affecting the text. Light toning along the margins. Folds. Ink mark at right edge.
