Description

John F. Kennedy: Handwritten Note and Doodle. One page on White House letterhead, 5.5" x 5.75", Washington; February 28, 1963. Notes written in the President's hand that reads, "pursuit / (9000) / closing date / Cuban airport / improvement / attention / aircraft" with triangular doodles in the upper left corner. Accompanied by a typed transcription of Kennedy's notes and a typed agenda for Thursday, February 28, 1963. That day, the President met with several congressmen including Clarence Cannon, the Chairman of the House Appropriations Committee and Antonio Carrillo Flores, Mexican Ambassador to the United States.

Condition: Handwritten note is creased along folds and lightly toned. It was stapled in the upper left corner to the president's agenda. The agenda itself is lightly toned with flattened creases along folds.
