Jimmy Carter Check Signed as Chairman of the Sumter County School Board. 8 1/2 x 3 1/4 inches, Plains, Georgia; November 9, 1960. A check made out to "Mrs Claude Logan" for "One hundred seventeen & 28/100 Dollars." Signed, "J Carter." Stamped "PAID" in red ink on the recto. Stamped and endorsed on the verso by Mrs. Claude Logan.Together with a glossy color photograph of Jimmy Carter as President, 8 x 10 inches.
Condition: Minor ink bleed-through from verso to recto; very small stain at bottom left corner.
