Description
James Monroe Signed Land Grant. Partially printed Document Signed, one page, oblong folio, 14" x 9.75", Washington, September 1, 1823. Monroe signs a land grant in which he approves the sale of 160 acres in Vincennes, Indiana. Countersigned by George Graham as Commissioner of the General Land Office. The paper and wax seal of the United States General Land Office is affixed to the lower left portion of the document. Very clean and boasting a dark signature by Monroe; near fine condition.Auction Info
