Description
Herbert Hoover Typewritten Letter Signed, one page, small quarto, 7" x 9", November 11, 1930. On White House stationery, to Mr. Paul Wooton at the National Press Building in Washington, D.C. Hoover thanks Mr. Wooton for his letter and notes. "It is encouraging to know one has such good friends." Written during the Great Depression, at a time when the Hoover administration was an easy target for attack and in need of friends. Gentle toning and in near fine condition.Auction Info
