Grover Cleveland Autograph Letter Signed. One page on presidential stationery, 5" x 8", Washington, July 4, 1894, to Mr. Purdue regarding "the pardon of Young Crittenden," who was accused of theft as a postal employee. (Crittenden was the grandson of John J. Crittenden.) Smoothed folds. Very clean text.
