Description
George Washington Clipped Signature "G: Washington." One small slip, 4.75" x 1", no place; no date. Taken from a larger document, with a printed "THE" below Washington's signature. Accompanied by a transmittal note that came with the signature, 4.75" x 8", no place; no date. It reads: "Two Autographs of Chief Justice Marshall. One of Washington." The autographs of Marshall are not included.Condition: The clipped signature has light edge toning at the top and right side. Slightly rough edges. There are some small holes punched throughout. The paper has flattened mail folds. Unevenly toned throughout, with light soiling and foxing. There are a few tiny holes present.
