Franklin D. Roosevelt: Typed Letter Signed as New York Governor-Elect.
-November 30, 1928. Warm Springs, Georgia. 7.25" x 10.5". Fidelity Deposit Company of Maryland letterhead.
-To: Mr. Herbert Fordham, New York City.
-Light toning.

FDR writes, "Thanks for yours of the 20th. It is fine of you to give me so much credit in the election, and I am not sure that all of it is deserved. I am now working on problems of State government and looking forward to a strenuous two years at Albany."

A typed letter Signed, 1 page 4to, Franklin D. Roosevelt/ Vice President/ Fidelity and Deposit Company of Maryland letterhead, November 30, 1928, shortly after his election as Governor of New York, from Warm Springs, Georgia, to the noted cartographer Herbert Fordham, Esq. FDR writes: "Dear Mr. Fordham:/ Thanks for yours of the 20th. It is fine of you to give me so much credit in the election, and I am not sure that all of it is deserved./ I am now working on problems of State government and looking forward to a strenuous two years at Albany./ Yours very truly,/ Franklin D. Roosevelt." A letter with wonderful content, written by FDR as he was preparing his first Administration as Governor of New York.
