Andrew Jackson Autograph Appointment Signed as President. One page, 7.75" x 9.75". June 9, 1831. In full: "James Thompson Esgr. In the absence of Peter Hogues 3rd auditor of the Treasury, you will discharge the duties of the same. June 9th 1831. [signed] Andrew Jackson." Together with an engraving of Jackson.Condition: Gently toned paper, with bold ink. Tiny separations occurring at flattened folds at margins.
