Abraham Lincoln Document Signed as President. One page, 14" x 12", partly-printed document on vellum, Washington, September 30, 1864, recognizing the appointment of Friedrich Kuhne as "Consul of the Duchy of Nassau, at New York." Boldly signed by Lincoln and countersigned by William Seward as Secretary of State. Wax seal intact and unaffected by folds. Archivally mounted, matted and framed with a portrait of Lincoln. Overall dimensions 27" x 20".
