Abraham Lincoln: Autograph Signed Note and Cabinet Member Signatures Display. 32" x 39" matted presentation of an Abraham Lincoln autograph signed note and signatures of his cabinet members. They are matted with a lithograph of "The First Reading Of The Proclamation Before The Cabinet", copyright 1866, by F. B. Carpenter. The signatures, from left to right, include Secretary of War Edwin Stanton, Secretary of the Treasury Salmon Chase, President Abraham Lincoln, a note reading "I approve the within, if no objections is known at the War Department. A. Lincoln Sept. 16, 1861", Secretary of the Navy Gideon Welles, Secretary of State William Seward, Secretary of the Interior Caleb Smith, Postmaster General Montgomery Blair, and Attorney General Edward Bates. A wonderful presentation, and ready to frame. All signatures come with PSA/DNA certificates.Condition: Light damp stain to margin of print, else fine.
