Description

Abraham Lincoln: Autograph Note Signed Feb. 1864, PSA NM7. 3 1/2" x 2 1/8" note entirely in Abraham Lincoln's hand, addressed to Secretary of War Edwin M. Stanton, requesting an audience for a Mr. Marshall. Signed at conclusion, "A. Lincoln." In full:

"Hon. Sec. of War, please see & hear Mr. Marshall, of St. Louis. A. Lincoln / Feb. 16, 1864." A contemporary pencil annotation on the verso, in another hand, reads: "GW Marshall."

Accompanied by a PSA/DNA Letter of Authenticity.

Condition: Lightly toned with minor soiling and creasing, and a small stain at the bottom edge. Minute pinhole near center, not affecting writing.
