More Information:

These handbills began circulating in Dallas several days before President Kennedy's November 1963 visit. Affixed to the back of the cardboard backing is a letter by Robert Wallace, who was an editor and writer at Life in 1963. According to his letter, he went to Dallas following Kennedy's assassination and "Picked up three or four of these handbills, which had been distributed on the streets between Nov. 20 and 23rd." The Warren Commission reported that 5,000 copies of the handbill had been printed by Robert Surrey. The Commission found no connection between Surrey and Kennedy's assassin, Lee Harvey Oswald.
