[Abraham Lincoln]. Schuyler Colfax Autograph Letter Signed. One page, 5" x 8", Indiana, February 15, 1880. Addressed to Mrs. Peeke responding to her request for a Lincoln autograph. Colfax writes: "Long ago I gave, & gave of what Lincoln autographs I had to friends who desired them till I exhausted my stock except a very few that I could not spare to any body." Schuyler Colfax (1823-1885) served as the 17th U.S. Vice President. Light folding. Light yellowing. Light tone around edges.
