Description
Theodore Roosevelt Document Signed. One page, 20 1/2 x 15 inches (sight), Washington; October 21, 1903. Matted and framed alongside a printed photograph of Roosevelt to an overall size of 30 x 24 inches. An appointment for: "Roscoe H. Hearn...First Lieutenant of Infantry, in the service of the United States." Signed, "Theodore Roosevelt" as President. Countersigned by Robert Shaw Oliver as Secretary of War. With blue paper seal of the War Office at the bottom left.Condition: Not examined out of frame. Lightly toned, with minor creasing near the edges. Some wear to the edges of the seal.
