Description
Signer of the Declaration of Independence, Samuel Chase Autograph Document Signed "Samuel Chase." One page, 5.75" x 3", Baltimore, January 1, 1807. Chase pens a voucher for $875, made payable to David Harris, Esqr. Harris has endorsed the voucher on the verso. The document reads, in part: "The President Director and Company of the Bank of the United States. Ten Days After Date Pay David Harris Esq. on order Eight hundred and seventy five dollars."Condition: Light toning to paper otherwise a legible document with a nice signature. Minor marks on the verso. Pencil notations and tape on verso.
