Salmon P. Chase Manuscript Letter Signed on Treasury Department letterhead, one page, 6.5" x 7.5" (sight), May 28, 1864, approving the "nomination John Roberto, as Inspector...". Elegantly matted alongside an engraving of Chase, and framed to an overall size of 21" x 17". Chase's signature has feathered ink, otherwise near fine.Auction Info
