Large Collection of Assorted U.S. Cabinet Secretary Signatures. An extensive group of approximately one hundred and forty documents signed by U.S. Cabinet Secretaries of the Interior, Commerce, Energy, Labor, Education, Health, Housing and Urban Development, Defense, Agriculture, and Transportation. Includes autograph letters signed, typed letters signed, documents signed, signed cards, clipped signatures, and signed photographs. Material dates from 1849 to 2003 and range in size from 3" x 2.25" to 8" x 10".Included in this group are the signatures of Gabe Norton, Jacob Thompson, Alexander H. H. Stuart, Thomas M. T. McKennan, Thomas Ewing, Jacob D. Cox, James Harlan, Jeremiah McLain Rusk, John A. Volpe, William Cohen, George Romney, Marion B. Folsom, Abraham Ribicoff, T. H. Bell, James J. Davis, James Edwards, William C. Redfield, and Maurice H. Stans, among many others.
Condition: A few instances of dried adhesive residue or tape on verso indicating previous mounting. Some documents are toned, rubbed, and foxed in places. Light edgewear. Very good.
