Description

George Ross Document Signed "Geo Ross." One page, 7.25" x 12", December 26, 1751. Settlement document instructing payment of damages. Ross signs as council in the lawsuit, having gained admittance to the Pennsylvania Bar in 1750. Ross would later sign the Declaration of Independence as a Pennsylvania delegate to the Continental Congress. With smoothed folds, some separated and repaired on verso with tape. Toning throughout, though more pronounced at folds.
