Description
Francis Lubbock Court Summons Signed. One page, 7.75" x 9.75", March 24, 1856. This is a court summons from Brazoria County, Texas. Signed "F.R. Lubbock" by the ninth governor of Texas on June 9, 1856 in the period notations on the verso.Condition: Smoothed folds, a few spots of ink smudging, but Lubbock's signature is clear. Some handling wear, and toning at the edges and the folds. Folds fragile.
