Four Signatures on Birch Bark: James Whitcomb Riley (2), Frederick D. Grant, and Charles E. Hughes. Two are dated July 17, 1908, the others have no date. Various sizes ranging from 4" x 1.75" to 2.25" x 1", all in ink. The birch bark is in very good condition with some uneven edges.More Information:
Author James Whitcomb Riley writes, "Best greetings,/ James Whitcomb Riley/ July 17, 1908" and "Greetings!/ James Whitcomb Riley/ July 17, 1908".
Army officer, politician, and eldest son of U. S. Grant, Frederick Grant signs, "Frederick D. Grant".
