Alexander Hamilton: 1792 Document Signed [DS]. 8 1/4" x 9" 1p printed circular, [Philadelphia], September 15, 1792, boldly signed "A. Hamilton" as Secretary of the Treasury. He informs Sharp Delany, Collector of the Port of Philadelphia, that $5000 in bills of exchange have not reached their destination after three weeks time. An itemized list is provided in case they should show up and be presented for payment by unauthorized parties.Condition: Laminated with a heat setting acetate. Some minor loss and discoloration along left side, not affecting text or signature. Very good.
