[Abraham Lincoln] Stephen Douglas Letter Signed mounted on the front free endpaper of a later printing of Political Debates Between Hon. Abraham Lincoln and Hon. Stephen A. Douglas. Columbus: Follett, Foster, and Company. 1860. 268 pages, 8vo. Douglas's signed letter (4.75" x 7") is dated March 17, 1860, sending the recipient his autograph. Letter is mounted along left margin, with mounting remnants and small hole not affecting text. Sheet has flattened folds, and soiling. Endpapers of book have heavy foxing, but interior pages remain clean.Auction Info
