Description

Robert Morris Partial Document Signed "Robt Morris." 6.5" x 4.25", Philadelphia; January 11, 1781. Removed from a larger document, a partially printed statement asserting that "the Brig Havannah whereof Peter Young is at present Master, being a square sterned Vessel of the Burthen of thirty five Tons or thereabouts, was built in Maryland 1779 and registered at the Naval-Office in Philadelphia...is the Property of this Deponent and that no Subject of the King of Great-Britain directly or indirectly hath any Share, Part or Interest therein." Removed from a larger document, but presents as complete. Mounted to card stock.

Condition: Mounted to card stock. With toning and moderate foxing and spotting throughout. Signed boldly by Morris.
