Walter Scott Document Twice Signed. One page with docketing on the verso, 12.25" x 8.25", January 6, 1821, Edinburgh. The document is a registered protest filed by Campbell Macintosh against Peter Fraser of Inverness and Reverend James D. Smith of Urquhart for nonpayment of a debt. The front of the document is signed "W. Scott" and the verso has "[McQueen] Mackintosh, W.S." in Scott's hand. Damp staining to the right edge, else near fine.Auction Info
