Description

Queen Victoria Signed Appointment. One partially printed page, 15 1/4 x 11 1/2 inches (sight), Court at Saint James's; June 6, 1884. Document appointing Charles Brownridge as a Lieutenant in the Volunteer Forces. Signed, "Victoria R" in the top left corner with blue paper seal affixed directly beneath. Matted and framed with a portrait of the Queen to an overall size of 25 1/2 x 20 inches.

Condition: Moderately toned, particularly at margins with scattered foxing spots and soiling near top and bottom margin. Three flattened folds. Not examined out of frame.
