Description
King George II Document Signed. One page, 11 x 18 1/4 inches, no place; June 17, 1758. Document granting an allowance to "several Officers and Private Gentlemen of the two troops of horse guard..." Signed, "George R." at the top of the document. Together with engraving of George II "From the portrait by Zeeman. In St. George's Hall, Windsor Castle." Drawn by J. L. Williams, engraved by T. Brown.Condition: Moderately toned, particularly at margins with darker areas of toning at corners. Scattered foxing. Four flattened horizontal folds with separations at margins of center fold, not affecting any text. Slight paper loss at top and bottom left corners, not affecting any text.
