Description

Frederick the Great, King of Prussia, Document Signed, "Frederick." Four integral pages, 7.5" x 7.75", Potsdam, July 8, 1783, in German. Frederick tells an unnamed prince of his busy schedule, the resulting reconstruction efforts at his palace, and "this year's Silesian Troop Review." "Most of all," Frederick writes, "my loving care for the continuous preservation of your valuable health has me rightfully worried that both revues would be too strenuous for My dear prince and even be harmful for your well-being." The document has folds and two stamps from a previous collection. The document is sold with an early engraving of the monument of Frederick the Great in Berlin.
