Evita Duarte Peron Autograph Letter Signed on her imprinted notesheet, one page, 7.25" x 4", [n.p., n.d.], sending thanks. She writes: "It has been a great pleasure to meet you and spend time with you. I hope we are able to work together again. Your friend and admirer Evita Duarte." Fine condition. Eva Peron (1919-1952) arrived in Buenos Aires in pursuit of an acting career, and instead became a powerful leader speaking out in favor of labor rights and the rights of women in Argentina. Her declining health was a major factor in her failed bid for the Vice-Presidency. Nevertheless, shortly before her death, she would receive the honorary title of Spiritual Leader of the Nation.Auction Info
