Description
Napoleon Bonaparte Letter Signed. Two and a quarter pages of a bifolium, 7.5" x 9"; Paris; March 25, 1798. Addressed to the Commission in Charge of the Armament of the Coasts of the Mediterranean, written in French (untranslated). Signed, "Bonaparte".Condition: Flattened folds, with a strip of paper affixed to the verso of the integral fold, with light buckling thereat. Ink ghosting resulting from the letter being folded. Pencil annotating the date in upper left corner. Accompanied by a typed transcript in French of the letter.
