Description

Napoleon Bonaparte Letter Signed. One page, 7.25" X 9"; Paris; October 23, 1810. Napoleon writes to his adopted son, Eugène de Beauharnais; in French, untranslated. He writes that he has received his letter of the 14th and references General Achille Fontanelli. Signed, "Your affectionate father Np." Matted and framed with a small color portrait of Napoleon to the overall size of 24.25" x 17". Not examined out of the frame.

Condition: Flattened folds with creasing. Stray foxing, with an ink stain at bottom. Frame has light wear and a few nicks.
