John C. Breckinridge Confederate Document Signed as the Confederate secretary of war. One page, 8.5" x 7", [Richmond], March 21, 1865. This partly-printed appropriation for "Expenses War Debt" is a Confederate War Department document. Also included is the excised signature of Samuel P. Moore as the surgeon general of the Confederacy. Both are affixed to one larger sheet.Auction Info
